Cervical radiculopathy, also called a “pinched nerve”, refers to the pain caused by irritation or compression of the nerve root where it branches away from the spine.

As cervical nerve roots exit the spine and travel down to the shoulders, arms and hands, you may experience pain, muscle weakness, numbness or tingling in these areas.
